Martin Lücke

Martin Lücke is a historian and history educator. He received his doctorate concerning the history of male prostitution in Germany and is a Professor in Didactics of History at the Free University in Berlin since 2010. Since 2019 he is the scientific director of the Margherita-of-Brentano-Center for Gender Studies at the FU. In the DFG-research group “Rights – gender – collectivity. Processes of standardization, categorization and solidarity”” he leads the sub-project “Human Rights, queer genders and sexualities since the 1970s”.
