Lisa Settari was born in Merano, Italy, in 1994. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science (University of Edinburgh, UK, and Sciences Po Grenoble, France) and a master's degree in MATILDA – European Women's and Gender History (Central European University, Austria, and Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy). From 2023–2025 OeAD lecturer at the Universitatea ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ in Iași (Romania), since September 2025 OeAD lecturer at the Université Paris Nanterre. Board member of the Women's Archive Bolzano/Archivio storico delle donne di Bolzano and the Association Internationale des Assistants de Langue.
